We are currently hiring for a Teacher Leader position
The Leader teacher's responsibilities including:
- Curriculum: Coordinate the curriculum and plan activities that are appropriate for children's development.
- Classroom management: Ensure the classroom is safe and stimulating, and manage day-to-day operations.
- Child development: Understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Parent support: Support parents in learning about child development and positive parenting, and resolve parental concerns.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with children and parents.
- Learning environment: Design the learning environment and create a nurturing space that responds to each child's needs.
- Assessment: Observe and assess children's development.
Requirements and Benefits
- High School or ECE Certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Childcare Basics
- Cleared Portable Background Check
- Tb Test
- First Aid and CPR adults and infants
- Blood borne paths
- Food Handler permit
- Teaching or childcare experience
- You must have a genuine love for children and a tender heart
- Team Player
- Meals and snacks when working
- Portable Background Check and CPR training, as needed.
